When you consider that Dallas has long been a source of great music  and what a cool downtown area it has now - with its’ beautiful architecture, highly recognizable skyline, great restaurants, clubs, commerce, culture and more -  it only seems logical that the two should collide, right?

Well, that’s what we thought as soon as we saw the plans for the new Main Street Garden Park in the heart of downtown.  It’s a state of the art urban park complete with fountain, playground, dog run, café and a great lawn that is about to host the biggest outdoor concert that the Main Street District has seen in…well, maybe ever!

The HomeGrown Music & Arts Festival is going to be an annual celebration of just that - HomeGrown music, HomeGrown art and, most importantly, HomeGrown fun.  There will be two stages featuring 15 bands that are among the best the metroplex has to offer performing many genres and styles of music.  You’ll get to meet local art galleries featuring local artists’ works.  We’ll have cool, live art demonstrations throughout the day, many vendors with goodies and services you don’t even know you need and want so bad, and much more.

So, on Saturday, May 22, pack the whole family into the car and head for that sweet Dallas skyline and we’ll see you at Main Street Garden Park, 1900 Main Street and make some great memories together!
